RECKEEN XR Extend the experience with extended reality

A step up from your trackless virtual studio solution!
Greater immersion into a virtual world means more incredible and extraordinary outcome.
Wow your audience with real-time Augmented Reality and Tracking 3D Virtual Studio productions.

VIRTUAL STUDIO PTZ TRACKING

Create even more advanced and dynamic productions thanks to PTZ tracking.
Pan-tilt-zoom functionalities gives a presenter the ability to move around a green screen more freely, whilst the image maintains its highest quality by using the camera’s optical zoom.

The advanced shadow processor not only generates real-time shadows and reflections of an on-screen talent, but also analyses the depth of the talent in a green studio space, which makes it possible to walk around 3D objects located in the virtual set.

AUGMENTED REALITY

Transform a plain view from a camera into a truly immersive space. Improve your viewers’ watching experience by adding three-dimensional elements and animations to the physical surrounding.

Blend the real and the virtual worlds together to create live AR productions.

PTZ CONTROL

Control the movements of the PTZ cameras directly from the RECKEEN’s application and VKey-100 control panel.

Program PTZ presets in RECKEEN’s Editor or use the joystick on the VKey-100 to smoothly change a camera’s position.
Everything under your fingertips – one application, one controller, one place to manage the whole production from.

DYNAMIC PTZ MULTI-CAMERA PRODUCTIONS

Use up to 4 cameras to create advanced and outstanding productions.
RECKEEN XR allows you to independently use different XR modes together – one camera can render virtual studio environment when the other performs tasks in Augmented Reality mode.
Unleash your creativity and expand your possibilities.

Multi-Camera feature

This feature allows you for a multiple-camera mode of production allows you to set up up to 4 cameras pointing into the same direction from different angles. It is especially useful during interviews, talk-shows, and other scenarios where there is a need for more than one camera setup in one place. That way it’s possible to capture close-up shots as well as a wider, master shot, and establish the geography of the virtual studio.

This feature is completely trackless, and the execution of the effect is achieved by intelligently placing the virtual cameras in the correct positions in a 3D studio.

Depth of field for the Multi-Camera feature

Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and the farthest objects that are in acceptably sharp focus. This feature allows for a blurred background, when a camera close-up is focused on a person. By adjusting the intensity of the blur of the background, making the scene and image more realistic-looking.

New Input Settings

  • New Input Settings
    • Rotation
    • Pan/Tilt/Zoom
    • Horizontal/Vertical Flip
    • Correction (brightness/contrast/saturation/hue)
  • CAM 1-4 inputs available to use with any media files together with chroma/luma key support

Now, instead of cameras or NDI connections, use any media file as an input. This way, a pre-recorded talent on a green screen can be used in your production, without the need to use an external device to play the file back.
This feature also provides you with an extension to a traditional use of chroma key. Use this feature, for example, for slideshow presentations – by adding a green colour as a background to a slideshow, you can create a very advanced-looking presentation in the virtual studio – such background can be removed using chroma key, leaving only content of the presentation, such as graphics and text, visible in a virtual set.

Stream Deck Mobile

Stream Deck Mobile – control slideshow presentations, as well as ANY commands in the system during productions in the RECKEEN Virtual Studio system, by using an app on your mobile device – Stream Deck Mobile. That way, a single person can fully operate a production, while, at the same time, being a presenter.

Slideshow Controller

Slideshow Controller – Incorporated triggers for slideshows, teleprompters, documents, and more, within the RECKEEN’s application. The receiver application is needed for a device that is being used to open the file. Reckeen Slideshow Controller can be downloaded for free here.

New FBX importer

New FBX importer – a new way of uploading FBX files to a virtual studio.

Detailed description of new demo content

Triggers: It is necessary to wait until a trigger has completed all of the assigned actions to be able to switch to a different trigger. If you’re using VKey-100 control panel – as long as the trigger button is lit up in red, the action is being performed. Wait until the trigger button’s light goes out to perform the next action.

Detect Position: Remember to press “Detect Position” at the beginning of the session for any talent that is visible in whole (together with their feet), as this function places a talent and its shadow in a correct position. To do that click on a gear symbol visible in an appropriate CAM input window, then, in a newly open window, click “Detect Position”. This action is unnecessary for any talents that are visible only partially, for example from waist up, or standing/sitting behind a desk, because the shadow is not visible with that talent placement.

  1. On your RECKEEN’s PC, follow the link: RECKEEN 1.6 content update
  2. Select all files (easy way: while pressing caps lock and shift simultaneously, click on the first and last file in the folder – it will highlight all of the files in the folder).
  3. Choose the option to download the files as ZIP (Note: the files are large, therefore the process of downloading will take a while).
  4. Once downloaded, open the .exe file provided, and install the installer. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. The installer will automatically add new content to the correct folders on the computer.

In this folder you can find all of the demo session for demonstrational purposes. Each one already includes uploaded media files – together with talents, videos, images, news tickers, etc. Additionally, chroma key, is also set up in the best possible way, taking into consideration lightening conditions in a specific studio (that might differ from one demo session to another).

Other settings, such as camera shots, have been designed as well. Each session contains an assigned set of triggers to ease up presentation process. Below, you can find a description of all of the triggers for each session.

All you need to do is to choose a desired session and open it. Everything else has been taken care of. Hopefully this new addition to the system will help to ease up your work.

In this folder you can find saved chroma key settings for the video files of talents from the folder “Chroma Key”.

They have been set up in a neutral way, therefore depending on the conditions in a chosen studio, adjustments to the key, such as saturation or contrast, might be necessary to make. You can do that by going to Post Correction tab in a Chroma key window, for a relevant CAM input.

This session presents how SMARTKEY feature works, and how it can be applied.

SMARTKEY integrates a result from the chroma keying with a chosen video clip or still graphics, generating that way a talent/or image, on a new background. Thanks to this feature, we can obtain four new media streams – called SMARTKEY channels, which can be placed directly inside RECKEEN 3D virtual studio, or sent to external SDI outputs.

That session presents a feature of displaying slideshow presentations in the RECKEEN system, and navigating them directly from the inside of Reckeen’s application, or by using an app called Stream Deck Mobile, which allows a presenter to control the slideshows on their own.

Additionally, in this session you can find a comparison of keying quality of a Full HD file of a talent, that has been filmed vertically, and then rotated by 90 degrees in Reckeen’s application, with a 4K file filmed horizontally, that has not been rotated.

NOTE: To fully benefit from that session, it will require extra steps to be taken outside, as well as inside of RECKEEN’s application. All steps are described below, and they concern slideshow presentations; to showcase quality of keying, no extra steps are required – the talents are automatically included in the set when loading the session.

Slideshow presentations:

This session should include 2 slideshow presentations connected to inputs via NDI or HDMI. 2 sample slideshow presentations intended to be used in this session are included in this session’s folder.

Presentation called “Sample presentation – RECKEEN products & features” should be added as a Media input, and displayed on a virtual screen in the studio. The other one, “RECKEEN – Sample Presentation – About Reckeen” should be added as a CAM input and used in a full screen mode, by placing it on a DSK layer (Downstream key). This kind of slideshow must be prepared on a green background in an external application of your choice – similarly to the sample presentation included in this session’s folder. Such presentation will then go through chroma keying in the Reckeen system, and that will result in removing the green background, leaving only content of the presentation visible on the full screen (if it’s placed as a DSK layer).

We recommend watching a video showing execution of such presentation. It can be found in a Tab 1 in Media Tray of this session, or alternatively in the folder where this session is saved at.

Steps enabling to control the slideshows directly from RECKEEN’s application:

  1. Install a free software “Reckeen Slideshow Controller” on your device from which a slideshow presentation is going to be played from. You can download the software from the folder on the server, or from our website: https://www.reckeen.com/reckeen-keen-on-record/downloads/
  2. Run “Reckeen Slideshow Controller” on your device.
  3. All devices used to perform the activities described below should be connected to the same Local Area Network (LAN).
  4. Go to the trigger window on Reckeen’s application, press “Find” button and click on IP address of your device with a slideshow presentation on.
  5. Use trigger buttons F1 and F2 to go to next (F1) or previous (F2) slide or animation on your slideshow.

To use another presentation simultaneously in RECKEEN’s system, you need a separate device with a presentation on it. Repeat steps 1-4. Use trigger buttons F3 and F4 to go to next (F1) or previous (F2) slide or animation on your slideshow.

Triggers can be used through VKey-100 control panel, or a computer keyboard.

To control the slideshow through a mobile device, follow these steps:

  1. Install app called “Stream Deck Mobile” on your mobile device (Note: this app is only available in App Store). And on Reckeen’s PC install “Stream Deck for Windows”, available on www.elgato.com
  2. Open “Stream Deck” application on the PC, run Reckeen’s virtual studio application.
  3. Using HotKey in the Stream Deck’s window assign triggers used for your presentations, i.e. F1, F2, F3, F4. For more help on how to assign HotKeys watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MLi–03l2M
  4. Open “Stream Deck Mobile” and configure the settings under manufacturer’s instructions. Information can be found on their website: www.elgato.com

Important note: Using Stream Deck we can trigger any commands on Reckeen’s system, that have been assigned to trigger buttons. That way a single person can operate a full production, while at the same time being a presenter.

A comparison of keying quality of a Full HD file of a talent, that has been rotated by 90 degrees, with a 4K file that has not been rotated:

  • In this session you can find 3 uploaded files on CAM inputs: on CAM 1 – a talent in 1080p59.94 resolution, on CAM 2 – a talent in 4K resolution, on CAM 3 a talent in 1080p59.94 resolution, that has been filmed vertically with a camera, and then the file has been rotated by 90 degrees I Reckeen’s application.
  • By switching between virtual cameras VC1, VC2 and VC3, we can compare the quality of keying between the files.
  • We can see that thanks to filming the talent vertically, the quality of the rotated FullHD file is nearly as good as the quality of the 4K file that has been filmed in a standard way. Filming vertically allows more effective use of a filming area by filling more space in the camera’s view with a talent itself, which results in a better file quality.

ALL NECESSARY TOOLS TO PRODUCE 3D TV CONTENT

RECKEEN 3DSPro package contains all necessary tools and applications to produce 3D video content, perfect for TV stations, Youtubers, Twitch, Mixer and other broadcasters, e-learning and education facilities, or for producing corporate materials.

The system has been created for people who value the highest quality and technological innovation, but also ease of use and convenience. RECKEEN 3DSPro performs amazingly in various environments – from professional TV studios to home productions. It is designed to fulfil the demand of any company, as the production can be performed by just a single person.

A 3D virtual studio system creates an illusion that the production is made in a spacious studio and with use of multiple cameras, when in reality it can be created on a small green screen and with as little as only one physical camera. RECKEEN 3DSPro system is equipped with four independent virtual cameras which give you freedom to move around the whole virtual set at any angle without limitations, with a use of smooth and complex-looking transitions, as well as by manual operations, that imitate a camera crane and cameraman natural movements. Virtual studio provides you with space to hold all kind of presentations, with a use of 3D graphics, animations and other media. All that, along with any editing is done and generated in real-time, without extra rendering time.

CAMERA SHOTS

RECKEEN 3DSPro system is equipped with 4 Virtual Cameras with a full range of motions available to reflect natural camera movements made by a cameraman: pan, tilt, zoom, dolly, truck, arc, pedestal, and so on. They can be rotated, have their angles and positions changed, giving you access to all areas of the set.

It is possible to assign up to 15 camera shots to each of the virtual camera, giving us 60 camera shots in total. These shots define different positions of the camera around a virtual studio. The transitions between the shots imitate a camera crane or track slider movements, and all of the parameters can be edit and customised fit your needs.
You can swiftly navigate between the virtual cameras and the shots from the production screen.

SIGNAL SOURCES

The fundamental part of a virtual studio configuration is selecting sources. Our main sources are video inputs from cameras – that way we can add a talent to our virtual studio. Such signal is sent to Chroma keying function. The purpose of chroma keying is to remove green or blue colour background, and be able to place a talent in a virtual studio.

Other sources may include media files such as videos, still images, or slide presentations, that you wish to display on a virtual screen inside a 3D studio.

AUDIO

RECKEEN 3DSPro comes in with ADB-100 external audio panel, which fulfils the highest audio requirements. Moreover, the system is equipped with a built-in audio mixer, that allows you to mix signal levels for all of the inputs – from cameras and microphones, as well as media and audio files.

Output signal can be adjusted and managed, as well as recorded straight from the broadcasted material.

The mixer is also equipped with a Follow function, which automatically synchronizes an audio source with an input that’s being aired, avoiding situations when microphones, or other audio sources, are forgotten to be turned on or off in the correct times.

MEDIA TRAY

Media tray stores all of your media files: videos, audio files, pictures, and texts, in one organized place, that is divided into tabs. The shortcuts make navigating between the tabs easy and efficient, which is extremely important during a production process.

NewTek NDI®

NewTek’s innovative Network Device Interface technology enables compatible systems, devices, and applications to connect and communicate over IP to share video, audio, and data.
RECKEEN 3DSPro system offers 6 NDI inputs for cameras and Media. Camera inputs include supported stream key and RECKEEN chroma key.
The system also includes an NDI output, which allows Program output to be broadcasted using NDI technology.

CONNECT UP TO 4 INDEPENDENT CAMERAS

RECKEEN 3DSPro system has 4 camera inputs, up to 4K format. It allows you to have up to two 4K or up to four Full HD camcorders connected to the RECKEEN’s workstation. Their signals are keyed independently in a high quality, thanks to four independent chroma key channels. Multiple inputs allow a user to make more complex productions with numerous talents filmed on different greenscreens, and also in different locations – if using an NDI connection.

ADB-100

External audio panel for the best sound quality and extended audio possibilities

  • AudioLink interface with a use of RJ-45 cable, this technology enables transferring all inputs and outputs stream to greater distances. The sound transferred digitally from ADB-100 device through RJ-45 connector maintains the highest quality and is noise-free thanks to galvanic isolation.
  • Equipped with AES3 digital audio standard inputs and outputs
  • Equipped with professionally balanced stereo analogue audio differential inputs and outputs

3D MULTICAMERA

Use a multi camera setup for more active and detailed production

This feature allows you for a multiple-camera mode of production with up to 4 cameras. It is especially useful during interviews, and other scenarios where there is a need for more than one camera setup. Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots of the characters on the set, while the central camera, or cameras, shoot a wider master shot to capture the whole scene and establish the geography of the virtual studio.

This feature strikingly resembles a tracking system. It is, however, completely trackless, and the execution of the effect is achieved by intelligently placing the virtual cameras in the correct positions in a 3D studio. This feature saves you money, and at the same time gives you results of an advance tracking system.

DEPTH OF FIELD

Depth of Field feature imitates opening and closing camera iris, that allows to blur the background, while the talents stay in a focal point. Adjusting the intensity of the blur of the background, makes the scene and image more realistic-looking. Depending on a camera position and its distance from talents, blur intensity will change.

SMARTKEY

PIP feature inside our 3DSPro system

SMARTKEY is a new solution integrating chroma key function with media and graphics. How does SMARTKEY work? Input signals from the cameras, from up to 4 chosen video inputs in the RECKEEN 3DSPRO system are sent to chroma keying function. SMARTKEY function integrates a result from chroma keying with chosen video clip or still graphics.

Chosen video clip or graphics is placed as a background layer. Additional feature includes automatic movement of background graphics to intensify visual dynamic of created scene. On such background, a layer with a talent, generated by a chroma key, can be placed at. In that way, we can obtain four new media streams – SMARTKEY channels, which can be placed directly inside RECKEEN 3DSPro virtual studio, or sent to external SDI outputs.

STILL EDITOR & NewBlue™ TITLERS

Create text panels and graphic compositions. Edit the text during broadcast

Our Still Editor application allows you to create text panels and aesthetically impressive compositions in the form of graphic files with images and texts, such as news tickers. Texts can also be edited during broadcast, in real-time, without the need to go back to the application – this way you can place a text panel with a new content live on-air immediately.

For even more impressive text panels, we’ve partnered with NewBlue® – their titling solutions will not only stun your audience and bring your production to the next level, but will bring more efficiency and into your work, and improve workflow. You can now connect NewBlue® products with RECKEEN 3DSPro via NDI connection – an easy way to amazing results!

CAMERA SIGNALS’ KEYING OPTIONS

Each of the signals from the cameras can be keyed with independent, user-defined chroma keys (upstream keys). You have the choice of three keying modes:

CHROMA KEY

UPSTREAM KEY

This mode allows you to accurately configure keying properties. It is a 6-step process with a wizard feature, that gives you a detailed description of each step, to help you achieve the best results.

SIMPLE CHROMA KEY

SIMPLE UPSTREAM KEY

This simplified mode generates most of the keying settings automatically, on the basis of algorithms analysing the image. A user sets up the key using only 3 sliders, which makes it easy, quick, and perfect for less experienced users.

LUMA KEY

LUMA UPSTREAM KEY

Luma keying is based on the levels of signal’s luminance readings. This mode includes extensive panel of keying configuration options, from white balance, through cut-off levels, to post-production effects.

3D STUDIO WIZARD

Make your own, impressive 3D scenography completely for free

3D Studio Wizard is an easy way to create your own, unique 3D scenography or a TV set using step-by-step guided application. Our free, rich in content and still growing library of 3D objects and decorations currently has over 700 items. Each item can be modified by changing texture and colour, which increases its creative potential even further. If that’s not enough, you can always import objects from any external graphic software, such as Maya, Blender, 3D Studio Max or Cinema 4D, or Microsoft Paint 3D, that is preinstalled at the RECKEEN system. The structure of 3D Studio Wizard allows even novice users to easily create 3D studios from scratch, providing you with unlimited possibilities to unleash your creativity, without spending a dime, because 3D Studio Wizard comes with our system completely for free!

3D STUDIO EDITOR

For even further convenience, we give you over 60 high quality, ready to use studio set designs for free! Choose your favourite scenography and start your production immediately. Sets include furniture, virtual monitors, space for talents, designed lightning and shadows. You can use them as they are or, using 3D Editor, you can customise each element to fit your needs. Add and remove furniture, change the position, size, colour and texture of each element, adjust the shadows, modify the lightning, add animated objects, and more. The editor doesn’t require to leave the production application, which is efficient, time-saving, and lets you make changes easily and quickly.

LIGHTS

There are few different types of lights available in our virtual studio: Ambient, Directional, Point and Spotlight. You can modify their parameters, turn them on and off, change their colour, intensity and position. This allows you to change the appearance of the studio’s set design, lighten or darken it in order to change its character and ambience.

SHADOWS

RECKEEN 3DSPro system’s engine renders shadows in real-time using parameters from virtually generated lighting, using a dedicated algorithm. You can enable or disable a shadows generation function for each piece of studio’s equipment, and talents. The intensity of shadows can also be adjusted and customised. With this feature, you can achieve a whole new level of realistic reproduction of a real world in a 3D space.

REFLECTIONS

RECKEEN 3DSPro system renders real-time reflections on glossy surfaces. These reflections change accordingly to the position of virtual cameras, as well as objects’ and talents’ movements. Reflections are generated not only on static or flat surfaces, but also on any glossy textures on 3D animated objects.

ANIMATIONS

Animate any object within our virtual studio, or use imported rigged animations

Simple animations can be added to any 3D object in a virtual studio – application objects as well as imported ones. For more complex animations, you can import rigged animations from any external applications using FBX format.
The animations can be easily triggered from within the production screen.
For a realistic effect, reflections are added to any imported objects and animations.

VIDEO MIXER AND SWITCHER

RECKEEN 3D Studio application includes video mixer and switcher inside the production module screen. You can now control and manage productions using only a computer keyboard and a mouse.

For even more ease and convenience, we’ve designed VKey-100 control panel – a specially designed mixer and switcher keyboard with a multifunctional joystick, a T-bar equipped with contactless Hall Effect technology, and LED illuminated buttons for heightened visibility of control surface, which placements on the panel corresponds to the placements on the production module screen, for the clarity and efficiency of work.

MULTIVIEWER

RECKEEN’s system gives a user as much as 16 simultaneous preview windows, enabling efficient production of a live program. Given their functions, previews can be divided into three groups:

  • previews of input signals – camera, media and text inputs,
  • production previews – Preview and Program,
  • previews of virtual cameras – views of chosen Virtual Camera phases

Multiviewer located in the production screen allows you to efficiently manage your work in a virtual studio. Any changes are displayed in Preview windows instantly, with no extra time needed for rendering, providing a user with real-time view of a produced program.

For an easy and clear management during production and to ensure a complete comfort of work, Multiviewer can be displayed on additional monitors.

DSK (downstream key)

Graphics, news tickers, animated logos and other textboards are placed on the main signal as overlays called DSK (downstream key). RECKEEN 3D Studio system allows you to add up to two DSK signals simultaneously. Any kind of media can be placed as a DSK layer, a very useful way of using this function is a slideshow presentation – if a slideshow is made on a green background, this background will be keyed, leaving only graphics and text visible, which can truly enhance the look of your production, making it even more unique.

CONFIGURABLE TRIGGERS

To facilitate your work, you can combine several functions creating a command sequence that can be programmed to be executed using trigger banks. A trigger bank can be set off automatically with a single button. The functions are then triggered one after the other, making your work more efficient. Any function at our system can be triggered, which can be extremely effective for your workflow. There are 10 trigger banks available in the system.

An interesting addition to this function is a possibility to control slideshow presentations from within RECKEEN 3DSPro system.

CONNECT UP TO 4 INDEPENDENT CAMERAS

RECKEEN Lite system has 4 camera inputs, up to 4K format.

NDI®

NewTek’s innovative Network Device Interface technology enables compatible systems, devices, and applications to connect and communicate over IP to share video, audio, and data.

RECKEEN Lite system offers 6 NDI inputs for cameras and Media. Camera inputs include supported stream key and RECKEEN chroma key.

The system also includes an NDI output, which allows Program output to be broadcasted using NDI technology.

CAMERA SIGNALS’ KEYING OPTIONS

Each of the signals from the camera inputs can be keyed with independent, user-defined chroma keys (upstream keys).

STUDIO CONFIGURATION

Before starting a broadcast, we need to configure our chosen studios, talents and media we wish to use.

For each virtual camera, we can choose a different scenography – that gives us a possibility to use 4 completely various environments in one production. Each one can have assigned up to 4 phases. A phase defines a position of a camera. During production we can transition between those shots in an easy way, without the need to do it manually.

One of the first things we should also do before production is to select a signal source for each place dedicated for a talent. We might need to adjust the size and position of a talent, to match a virtual environment. We can also assign any media, such as videos or graphics, to virtual monitors in a studio, that we wish do display during the broadcast.

VIRTUAL SETS

RECKEEN Lite, by default, comes with 30 professionally-prepared set designs in various styles and themes. Virtual sets contain decorations, furniture and virtual screens on which various media can be displayed.

Moreover, by using our free software – VSM Lite Editor, you can create your own, unique scenography, or edit the existing one provided with the system.

By assigning phases into a chosen set, we can create an impression that every shot is filmed with a different camera. That way the production can appear much more impressive.

MEDIA TRAY

Media tray stores all of your media files: videos, audio files, pictures, and texts, in one organized place, that is divided into five tabs. The shortcuts make navigating between the tabs easy and efficient, which is extremely important during a production and broadcasting process.

SOUND MIXER

RECKEEN Lite system is equipped with a built-in audio mixer, that allows you to mix signal levels for all of the inputs – from cameras and microphones, as well as media and audio files.

MULTIVIEWER

RECKEEN LITE system gives a user as much as 16 simultaneous preview windows, enabling efficient production of a live program. Given their functions, previews can be divided into three groups:

  • previews of input signals – camera, media and text inputs,
  • production previews – Preview and Program,
  • previews of virtual cameras – views of chosen Virtual Camera phases.

RECKEEN Lite system allows you to add up to two DSK signals simultaneously. Any kind of media can be placed as a DSK layer, giving you full freedom. Use this feature with content prepared in our Still Editor!

Additionally, a creative way of using this function is with slideshow presentation – if a slideshow has been made on a green background. This background will be keyed, leaving only graphics and text visible, which can truly enhance the look of your production, making it even more unique.

MVP-100 advanced video converter for universal use.

MVP-100 is an advanced video converter which allows conversion of UHD input signals into 4 different streams with resolution up to FullHD. Each device has two UHD inputs which are working simultaneously.

HOW DOES MVP-100 OPERATE?

MVP-100 is an advanced video converter that allows processing and conversion of UHD signals (3840×2160), for example: 12G SDI or HDMI 2.0 into four or eight different high-quality streams, at resolutions up to FullHD. MVP-100 has got two independent conversion channels!

This enables simultaneous and parallel processing of two UHD signal sources – 3840×2160, the input signals are converted into eight 3G SDI outputs, which can be additionally synchronized to a Genlock input.

This solution is ideal for professionals who deal with production and broadcasting of video materials using a variety of sources and signal types. It is perfect to apply both on the set and during the life coverage of events.

In addition, MVP-100 converter is really easy to use. The small size of the device, its user-friendly interface.

HDMI

HDMI port in standard 2.0 mostly used in cameras which can transport up to 3840 x 2160 resolution in frame rate 60 progressive.

SDI 3G/6G/12G

The second way is to use one coaxial cable for two inputs with BNC connector as SDI digital interface standard with supporting 3G/6G/12G signal.

QUAD SDI

Some of the professional equipment, for a transport 4k signal, uses separate 4 coaxial cables with BNC connector. This method is called as Quad SDI. Each of them transports 3G signal.

SDI 3G

One of the possibilities is to connect 8 independent SDI signals at a resolution of up to 3G. At this time, it will not be possible to set virtual frames for each signal from the camera. Each full screen image will be available by pressing the button available on the MVP control panel.

CLONE

Clone is a function that gives you the ability to set exactly the same content on your channel as on the second input channel. For example, if you connect the 4k signal to channel A and set clone function on channel B, you can expect not only 4 Virtual frames but up to 8 with full animations.

CONFERENCE

If you are holding a conference, you can cover it with two 4K cameras’ wide angles. You can mimic a multicamera live production using only two physical cameras. This innovative concept requires a lot less manpower and hardware costs compared to a traditional production. More flexibility, more mobility and more camera angles!

LIVE EVENT

Very often, what limits you the most is that you don’t have enough room for all the operators or a lot of extra angles. If you don’t have much space, the two 4K cameras give you the possibilities tantamount to using eight. It opens you a door to a world of so many angles.

STUDIO NEWS

MVP 100 can be used as a switcher during a live production to make your program more dynamic. You can choose a wide angle, but also a shot of each person in the studio. When one person is talking, all you need is to switch to the right shot and zoom in or out. No cameraman is needed! You have a complete control over your live production.

MVPKEY-100 EXTERNAL CONTROL PANEL

FULL POSSIBILITIES OF CONTROLLING YOUR VIRTUAL CAMERA

MVP is an invaluable tool in creating a top-notch security systems. It allows you to get eight 3G HD outputs from a single 4K camera. As MVP100 processes the signal in real time, you obtain the effect of 8 high-quality mobile video cameras – but without their actual movement. This way, the scaler provides both new opportunities and the possibilities to cut down the costs by reducing the number of actual video cameras and cables, while simultaneously increasing precision and quality in capturing all the important details.
