HOW DOES MVP-100 OPERATE?

MVP-100 is an advanced video converter that allows processing and conversion of UHD signals (3840×2160), for example: 12G SDI or HDMI 2.0 into four or eight different high-quality streams, at resolutions up to FullHD. MVP-100 has got two independent conversion channels!

This enables simultaneous and parallel processing of two UHD signal sources – 3840×2160, the input signals are converted into eight 3G SDI outputs, which can be additionally synchronized to a Genlock input.

This solution is ideal for professionals who deal with production and broadcasting of video materials using a variety of sources and signal types. It is perfect to apply both on the set and during the life coverage of events.

In addition, MVP-100 converter is really easy to use. The small size of the device, its user-friendly interface.

HDMI

HDMI port in standard 2.0 mostly used in cameras which can transport up to 3840 x 2160 resolution in frame rate 60 progressive.

SDI 3G/6G/12G

The second way is to use one coaxial cable for two inputs with BNC connector as SDI digital interface standard with supporting 3G/6G/12G signal.

QUAD SDI

Some of the professional equipment, for a transport 4k signal, uses separate 4 coaxial cables with BNC connector. This method is called as Quad SDI. Each of them transports 3G signal.

SDI 3G

One of the possibilities is to connect 8 independent SDI signals at a resolution of up to 3G. At this time, it will not be possible to set virtual frames for each signal from the camera.Each full screen image will be available by pressing the button available on the MVP control panel.

CLONE

Clone is a function that gives you the ability to set exactly the same content on your channel as on the second input channel. For example, if you connect the 4k signal to channel A and set clone function on channel B, you can expect not only 4 Virtual frames but up to 8 with full animations.

CONFERENCE

If you are holding a conference, you can cover it with two 4K cameras’ wide angles. You can mimic a multicamera live production using only two physical cameras. This innovative concept requires a lot less manpower and hardware costs compared to a traditional production. More flexibility, more mobility and more camera angles!

LIVE EVENT

Very often, what limits you the most is that you don’t have enough room for all the operators or a lot of extra angles. If you don’t have much space, the two 4K cameras give you the possibilities tantamount to using eight. It opens you a door to a world of so many angles.

MVP-100 Advanced Chroma Key

All new features in MVP-100 include an upstream key and from the next release will also include full chroma keying for green screen and blue screen shots.

That means you can add weather maps, graphics, and other virtual sets behind the on-screen talent!

MVP-100 key will have many adjustment possibilities, such as: Black, White, Despill, Shadows, Shrink, Auto color background, Background color picker and of course Garbage Mask!

MVP-100 support ADB-100, coming in next firmware release

ADB-100 is an additional, external audio module extending not only functionality of Reckeen 3D, but from now on also MVP-100.  With its built-in Audio Link interfaces this device can be installed directly at a studio as well as on stage. The use of RJ 45 cable and Audio Link technology enables transferring all inputs and outputs stream to greater distances (with a single RJ45 cable).

MVP-100 supports embedded audio and together with ADB-100, it has access to analogue audio input and output as XLR or MIC / Headphone, and also has the highest digital audio standard as AES / EBU signal quality (AES3).

IP or RS232 command in MVP-100

Now, you can use simple commands to program a function you need directly from the terminal or your application on MVP-100. The command can be sent via the RS232 or LAN port. Full list of available functions in published on Reckeen.com in the download section / MVP. The protocol is open and available to everyone.

MVP-100 can be accessed by TCP connection on port 5002. Default IP address is 192.168.1.10 when no DHCP server is available in local network or dynamic – IP address can be read by MVP-100 PC Update application.  MVP-100 accepts only one connection at a time.

User screen resolution is always 8K apart from input signal resolution and selected output format. Maximum rectangle size is 7680×4320, minimum size is 256×144. For 4K input signals only one track per input can exceed Full HD resolution, e.g. if Track 1 rectangle size is bigger than 3840×2160, the sizes on Tracks 2 to 4 can be at most 3840×2160 (which is one quarter of 4K input, equal to Full HD). For HD input signals this limitation does not apply.

Finances, costs and investments.

Reckeen Rental finances focus on flexibility and cost-effectiveness. Flexibility lets the business partners define their own prize for the final customer. Cost effectiveness lets the customers define the rental period according to their needs.

  • Initial investments are based on a refundable deposit of €1,999 (option without a PC) or €3,500 (option with a PC). For that price you get all of the products included in the package.
  • The minimal monthly threshold that a business partner is required to hit is only €100 (if the package without a PC was chosen) or €200 (if a package with a PC was chosen).If there are not enough rentals in a given month to reach the threshold, the amount of €100 or €200 (depending on the package) will be deducted from your deposit.
  • Additionally, a commission to our partner is granted at any sales that result from the Reckeen Rental program.

Daily and weekly rental rates for the customers are defined by business partners.

  • We present you with a contract.
  • The contract is signed for 6-month period. We can extend the contract for another 6 months on your request. On renewal, you can acquire an additional license. Everything will be managed from your online account.
